Reminder: FY25 Legacy CSP incentives end September 30, 2025
As part of our transition to new commerce for Cloud Solution Providers (CSP), we have continued to phase out legacy CSP partner incentives over the past few years.
This began in December 2022 with the removal of incentives for most commercial seat-based offers as they became available in new commerce.
With Government Community Cloud (GCC), education, and nonprofit offers joining new commerce in March 2024, and Microsoft-led migrations starting August 2024, we continued as planned to retire these legacy CSP incentives. As of September 30, 2025, all legacy CSP incentive offers will be removed from CSP incentives.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Microsoft’s legacy products over the years. Your partnership has been instrumental in driving innovation and delivering value to our shared customers.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to focus our efforts on the future of Microsoft’s new commerce experience. This evolution brings enhanced flexibility, simplified licensing, and greater opportunities for growth and profitability.
To continue earning CSP incentives, offers must be transacted on new commerce CSP, with the partner enrolled in the Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) and meeting CSP incentive eligibility requirements.

Microsoft Commitments: Microsoft 365 and Teams Licensing, Discounting, and Sales Practices
As a reminder, Microsoft recently finalized an agreement with the European Commission (“Commitments”) regarding the inclusion of Teams in Microsoft 365 productivity suites in which we’ll expand interoperability and data portability resources, and make additional changes to licensing, pricing, and discounting practices for Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams. These changes are designed to enhance flexibility, support open ecosystems, and give customers more options to meet their unique needs.
